Speech Language Pathology Assistant: Lake Forest location
Sandy Gonzales
I earned my bachelor’s degree in Sociology from California State University, Long Beach. I recently earned my Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) degree from Orange Coast College. While obtaining my SLPA degree, I spent nearly a year completing my clinical hours at French Valley Elementary School in Temecula, Ca. I have worked with children of all ages with a variety of needs, including language, articulation, and social pragmatics. I developed a love and passion for helping children improve their speech and language skills when my daughter, at an early age, needed speech services. I was able to support her during her time in speech therapy and after seeing her remarkable progress, I knew I wanted to help other children with speech and language disorders.
I enjoy spending time with my two children and husband. We spend our free time with family and friends, traveling, cooking, watching football and being active outdoors, going on hikes and boating.
