Charity Sando
Charity earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Communication Disorder Sciences at California Baptist University in May 2018 and her Master’s of Science in Speech Language Pathology from Biola University in May 2020. Throughout her education, she completed internships in a variety of settings including: public preschool, elementary, and middle schools, a private school, and private clinics. She was also a part of a neuro rehabilitation team at an adult outpatient facility specializing in progressive diseases. While completing her master’s degree she had the opportunity to travel to Uganda and work with Hope Speaks International. Hope Speaks is a non-profit organization providing speech-language therapy to children and adults. There she helped provide speech and language assessment and treatments in private clinics, orphanages, and village clinics throughout Kampala, Uganda.
Charity has experience working with clients with Cerebral Palsy, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Fluency disorders, articulation disorders, speech delays, language disorders and delays, voice disorders, traumatic brain injury, strokes, Parkinson’s disorder, and dementia.
Charity was born and raised in beautiful Northern California, where she still enjoys vacationing and visiting family. In her spare time, she enjoys being Auntie, camping, dancing, and traveling to far off places.
