I am an inquisitive and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist who has found great joy working alongside families to help improve the lives of children through speech and language intervention. I obtained my Bachelor’s Degree from California State University, Long Beach in Sociology with an emphasis in communication and human interaction. I then continued my education at Chapman University where I completed my Masters Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. In that time, I was given the opportunity to work in private clinics, public schools, community-based clinics, and university programs assessing and treating children, adolescence, and adult populations.

Upon graduation I found myself drawn to the private clinic setting. I have been privileged to see a variety of clients but have always been drawn to working with early intervention and school aged children with phonological and academic based goals. I continued my training at a clinic specializing in Dyslexia and learned and taught an Orton-Gillingham structured literacy program. I believe every child deserves someone to advocate for them and provide them with the resources they need to be successful and confident in their communication and learning abilities. My goal is to work alongside families to help children reach the fullest potential through developing functional communication skills in fun and innovative ways.
