Alexis Onopa
Alexis Onopa earned her undergraduate degree in communication disorders from California State University, Fullerton, and went on to obtain her Master's degree in communication disorders from Baylor University.
With extensive clinical experience, Alexis has worked in a variety of settings, including elementary schools, high schools, and private clinics that serve both pediatric and adult populations. Alexis has had the privilege of working with children of all ages. She has a deep understanding of and expertise in addressing a broad spectrum of communication challenges, such as articulation, speech, language, fluency, alternative augmentative communication (AAC), voice, cognitive communication, and social communication.
Alexis’s passion lies in early intervention, where she is driven by the joy of helping children discover their voices. She is dedicated to empowering families to achieve effective communication, believing wholeheartedly in the power of child-led therapy to unlock each child's full potential. Alexis finds immense fulfillment in watching her young clients grow and succeed, knowing that her work makes a meaningful difference in their lives.
Outside of her professional life, Alexis enjoys cooking, and spending quality time with her family.
